Event wrap-up - Twintech 2 in DC and Tweetup in New Delhi

Sep 21, 2008 – 10:54 pm

So the past week turned out to be happening - with social media enthusiasts meeting at two very different events, in two very different settings, and two very different parts of the globe -Twin Tech 2 in DC and Tweetup in New Delhi. It was an honor to meet all the fabuluous people, share their expertise and get a lot of constructive feedback on Diditz.

A sequel to the series which started earlier in July, Twintech 2 was a much bigger event with enthusiasts coming from DC, Virginia and even North Carolina. With three floors of space in a large club, free drinks and 700 people, a networking event could not get better than this! It was fun to catch up with startup teams from Contribune.org, Ubernote.com, Sharememe.com and Createdebate.com.  With conversations swinging between Apache servers to new media marketing, there was something new to learn and share from everyone we met. In all, a great event and kudos to Peter Corbett from Istrategy labs for putting it all  together! It was an honor for Diditz to cosponsor this event. Twintech-3 is sometime in November, and we hope to see you there!

On the other end of the globe, Delhi tweeters were meeting at a tweetup, contemplating on serious, but important concerns in the new media arena. From topics ranging from bill of rights for people using social networks to copyright issues to plagiarism, there was enough food for thought.

We have a few pics and a lot more to tell in our did-its centred around these two events, and we would be uploading that content soon - so make sure you have the access code to Diditz, and if not, do write to us for an alpha invite!

Thank You,

The DIditz Team
